No matters were arising from the April minutes
3. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
The Chairman has received a letter of resignation from the secretary of the Luton Old Boys Daniel Turner.
Luton Old Boys and Moat – letters regarding non fulfilment of league fixtures
Paul Lempiere cheque to be issued with reference to non payment by St Josephs with regards to un-played match
Greg Lewry resignation letter contents had been noted and an apology to John Standen stating that the views expressed in the letter were not that of the NHCSFL management committee
Moat F C Reserves v AC Sportsman Reserves letter received from Greg Lewry contents noted
The Chairman reported that he attended a board of appeal regarding Club Lewsey appeal on the decision to remove them from the Reserve Cup for failing to produce an ID card for a player in the game.
Bedfordshire Football Association decision on the above appeal – they have upheld the decision made by the NHCSFL and have sanctioned Moat F C Reserves reinstatement into the competition.
4. GENERAL SECRETARY
Correspondence from Offley regarding referees was discussed and passed to Ralph for future reference – General Secretary to write to Offley in response
Gary McEvoy application accepted and General Secretary to advise that additional trophies are required by clubs they can contact directly KLM Trophies to arrange or they can go through the NHCSFL.
Sponsorship Packages with Club Website discussed will require further investigation by Chairman as to the benefit for the NHCSFL
Correspondence received from Noel Lewis reference to outstanding issues regarding the fixture between Aldwyck and Peguform decision made to award win to Peguform as per league rule 23(G)
Correspondence from Richard Smith reference to non confirmation of fixture between Bird & Bush and Hexton, Hexton fined in accordance with league rule 10(D)
Apology to Caddington Social due to the decision not being included with the April minutes this game was scheduled to be replayed original decision stood and game was awarded to Caddington Social
Apologies from our Sponsor to the NHCSFL for the lack of trophies at the Senior Cup at the weekend this was an error on their part and this situation has now been resolved – committee to review the suitability of Playfootball.net as sponsors of the NHCSFL for season 08-09
5. REGISTRATION SECRETARY’S REPORT
Clubs are reminded that ALL ID CARDS must be returned to Rod Hewitt prior to the AGM
The decision was made that next season it will be mandatory for all clubs with reserve sides should have a 2nd set of cards to reduce the risk of losing and misplacing cards
